Born in New York City, raised in a colonial town in New Jersey near the shore. Moved to Western Massachusetts and spent approximately 18 years living in a small village in the Connecticut River Valley. Moved to Long Island, New York at the frontier of Nassau County and Queens, NYC. Moved to Clovis in 1991 to work at Fresno City College.
