Click here to Return		Students work with Quark XPress, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. Projects are designed for the printing press. As a result, the student learns a new vocabulary and techniques to design work that can actually be produced. This is a LOT different than just using the software to make things for a laser printer. Concepts include trapping, color models, bleeds, crop, trim, and folds, imposition methods, gripper margin, grain direction, stock selection, ink selection, register marks, and ghosting...to name a few.
