| This field of study deals with the creation and preparation of visual messages, conveyed either as an interactive multimedia program, an Internet page, or a printed piece. The Graphic Communications Department offers two distinct paths toward attainment of either an Associates Degree or Certificate of Completetion. |

| Graphic Design deals with the planning and creation of projects. There is an almost equal emphasis on art and production methods in this area. A graduate of the program would be prepared for entry-level design production, or continuation at a four-year college. This program usually appeals to the artistically inclined individual. |

| Graphic Communications deals with the technical requirements and limitations of the various processes. Studies include web page construction, offset print preparation, and multimedia production. A graduate of this program would possess a wide set of entry-level employment skills. This program tends to appeal to the more technically minded individual. |
